Ever since her childhood years of watching Star Trek and playing with a rubix cube, Trudy Miller had been waiting around for the perfect future-forward wardrobe to show up, but with extreme comfort, and more room for individuation. In 2005, she decided she couldn't wait any longer, so she put on her solutionista thinking cape and got on the case.

Trudy Miller Layers (TML) is a concept clothing line that celebrates the beauty and diversity of the female form. The garments are designed to bring more style, comfort, efficiency and personal expression to each woman who wears them. Every silhouette is fully customizable to individual body type and lifestyle needs, and is able to accommodate the constant changes and fluctuations that occur in a woman's cycle over time, including pregnancy.
Miller brings her analytical problem-solving skills and keen sense of style to the collection. Her formal training is in architecture, but her passion is for designing streamlined products and environments that are responsive to changing needs. She is design director of Clinchdesign, an idea lab focused on resource-efficient design solutions for 21st century living. For Trudy, high performance is synonymous with high style, comfort and utility.
